On October 6th we had the privilege of photographing Brock and Kathy’s beautiful wedding. It was a spectacular fall day with sun and crisp cool air, and both Brock and Kathy have the most incredible and loving families that made the day extraordinary. We were fortunate enough to get to take first look and couples photos in the breathtaking and peaceful Nitobe Garden and then move on for the ceremony and reception at the Brock House. Every part of the wedding was magical and it was a touching and memorable day we feel lucky to have been a part of.
And here is the rest of the evening.

In August we had the pleasure of photographing Megan and Cormac’s beautiful West End wedding. They were married at Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church and then the entire wedding walked through tree lined streets to the Vancouver Rowing club in Coal Harbour. It was a really gorgeous fun day.
Our lovely friends Laura and Bryan were married a couple of weeks ago at the stunning UBC Botanical Gardens and we were lucky enough to be their photographers! Everything about the day was incredibly beautiful; the bride and groom, their friends and family, the location, and even the weather!
Since everything was so stunning we have a lot of photos we would like to share so we are spreading the photos out over 2 posts 🙂
We hope you like them!

Here are some more photos from the shoot that we did with Amanda Jane ( Made With Love Events) and our beautiful models/friends Jenny and Darren. It was a super fun/funny day. Early in the day we thought we might have to cancel when there was a torrential downpour – luckily that didn’t last long and after it was done it was a beautiful day.
Here are the people/companies that made the shoot possible/beautiful:

A few weeks ago we were lucky to get to shoot the lovely Cam and Caitlin! They are such a fantastic couple and have so much fun together and it was a joy to work with them. We walked around Coal Harbour, Lost Lagoon and Second Beach, and it’s the most fun we’ve had working in a long time! Enjoy.
On Tuesday night, the Vancouver Canucks won the Western Conference Final and advanced to the Stanley Cup finals! We hit the streets as soon as the game was over and so did 20,000 other fans. Here are a few of the shots from the celebration!

On the weekend Mitch and I went back for our second visit to the Emily Carr Grad Show on Granville Island. My lovely sister Madeleine graduated from the photography program this year and won the top Canon Photography Award. You can check out Maddy’s work as well as the rest of the Emily Carr 2011 grad class at the Degree Exhibition on until May 22nd.
In addition to being a talented photographer Madeleine also runs a vegan blog with our other sister, Hannah ( Hannah is also a photographer studying at Emily Carr graduating in 2012), check it out: ThatDamnVegan.com

On Sunday we met up with our friends, Jenny and Darren, to take some engagement photos with them. They are great friends, they were great models, and it made for a great day!
